Family Day: A look back at an unforgettable day celebrating 10 years of Bike 43

Saturday, June 29, 2024, will be forever etched in our memories as an exceptional day. To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Bike 43 prototype, invented by our dear Etienne, we organized a special event: Family Day. Our goal was simple yet essential: to meet the daily users of Bike 43 and share our passion for this revolutionary bike.

The enthusiasm was immediate as soon as the “save-the-date” invitations were sent out. We were pleasantly surprised to see over 100 registrations in record time. The Family Day promised to be a unique gathering, and it delivered on all fronts.

A Playful Morning

The day began at 11 AM with a Pump Track activity dedicated to children. This looped track, consisting of bumps and banked turns, is ideal for learning to ride a bike. Watching the youngest participants enjoy themselves and discover the joys of cycling on this course was a true delight. Meanwhile, parents and other participants began exchanging tips, tricks, and advice on using their Bike 43.

A Social and Friendly Ride

Next, we took to the road for a “social ride” along the canal. This ride led us to the BBP Beer Garden. There, a bouncy castle and food trucks awaited us, turning the place into a true haven of relaxation and conviviality. Both young and old took this opportunity to eat, play, and share their experiences with the Bike 43.

A Grand Finale to Match Our Expectations

To conclude this beautiful day, we had the immense privilege of offering our guests a guided tour of the Bike 43 assembly line at Travie. This tour allowed everyone to discover the behind-the-scenes of their bike’s production and better understand the work and innovation that goes into each model. The assembly with the adapted work teams at Travie is quite unique.

This Family Day was a resounding success. Seeing so many Bike 43s gathered, feeling the positive energy and enthusiasm of all the participants, and sharing these precious moments with our community was an incredible experience.
